The first object in the case is the emblem of the mothership: suleimanodetoro.com opens on a hand-drawn cassette whose Side A and Side B are the site’s light and dark themes — flip the tape, flip the lights.

It sits in Frames because it earned it: it’s the object that taught this whole ecosystem its language. Everything the museum does — objects drawn rather than borrowed, chrome set in monospace, one orange accent — was rehearsed on that cassette first. Museums usually collect other people’s design history. This one is allowed to collect its own.
