My note

This was the track from Bully that stayed with me. André Troutman’s talk-box sits over a patient drum pattern and gives the song a warmth I did not expect from the rest of the record.

Kanye albums arrive with plenty of noise around them. Every so often, one arrangement is good enough to pull my attention back to the music. This was that song for me.
