Liner notes
Named for the house Cole grew up in, and it plays like he’s walking you back through it room by room. Famously no guest features — just one voice for the whole run, going from the awkwardness of Wet Dreamz to the hard-won peace of Love Yourz without ever raising it for effect.
I came for the singles and stayed for the shape of the thing. It’s an album about wanting more and then working out that the more you already have might be enough, and it lands that without preaching. Whenever I need company that isn’t trying to hype me up, this is the one.
